Mental Health Awareness Month

Talking about mental health helps improve our communities by making it more acceptable for those suffering from mental illnesses to seek help, learn to cope, and get on the road to recovery. In addition, mental health isn't just about mental illnesses. It's also about maintaining a positive state of wellbeing.

There is an immeasurable amount of data that links movement with positive mental health benefits. This month - PUT ON YOUR MYZONE STRAP AND GET UP AND MOVE WITH US.  We promise you won't regret it.

Weekly Sunday VETWOD workouts to support First Responder Mental Health

There are many of our friends & family, maybe even ourselves, who suffer with this in silence.

While suicide is the most devastating outcome of mental illness, there are a host of other, more common effects that many people live with every day. They include:
  • Anger, anxiety, aggressiveness
  • Depression
  • Insomnia
  • Erratic or impulsive behavior
  • Substance abuse, including prescription drugs

We all experience difficult times and stress in our lives, and no one should feel ashamed in seeking help to manage those times.

Fitness on Fire is and always will be a SAFE PLACE FOR GROWTH & SELF-DEVELOPMENT and we want to make an active and physical stance to show our support.
